SUCCESS: Oliver Mtukudzi vs Warren Buffett
Some may be wondering how come we are comparing Tuku (OLIVER) to Warren
Buffet the third richest man on this planet. Mtukudzi is a gifted
"LEGEND" with a deep and gusty voice plus a talent for writing songs
that reflects on the daily life and struggles of the people. The answer
to this comparison is very simple, when you look at TUKU's success one
can see investment in talent and W*B is the richest investor world wide!
At the age of 11, he bought three shares of Cities Service Preferred
for himself and three for his sister.
While in high school he invested in a business owned by his father and
bought a farm worked by a tenant farmer. By the time he finished
college, Buffett had accumulated more than $90,000 in savings. The 80
year old Buffet is currently worthy $53billion and rated 3rd richest on
Forbes list. TUKU began performing in 1977 when he joined the WAGON
HEELS, a band which also featured Thomas Mapfumo and the same year marks
his release of debut album NDIPEIWO ZANO. The successful legend now
enjoys swimming in his guitar-shaped swimming pool, has released 53
albums to date. It's really funny how people regarded musicians in the
early 80/90s as MAROMBE (like strolling beggars) but Tuku remained focused to be where he is now. ....damn they geniuses, patience pays!!
This is also applies to ZIM URBAN GROOVES ARTISTS, people should
support them coz it takes step by step to perfection, one day they will
be recognized globally and tells how one must not fall for shortcuts,
hard work n patience pay!!!

I'm going to grab my copy, ALEXIO is back with TOSE
ALEXIO is back with TOSE, I'm going to grab my copy!!
The new album was mastered in SA by Keith Ferguson, so this explains everything that TOSE will hold some great quality which can be played on any international radio!
"According to the music production duo Jairos Hambahamba and
Tinashe Ndhlala, Alexio’s fifth studio album ‘Tose’ has the potential to
be the most highly rated album internationally by a Zimbabwean artist
since Chiwoniso Maraire’s ‘Ancient voices. In an interview straight
after rehearsals with Alexio and Shades of Black, Jairos was ecstatic
with the quality of music which Alexio brought forth for him to produce
and added that ‘Tose’ will prove to all the doubters that ‘Kana’ wasn’t a
fluke. Jairos who’s no stranger to working with Alexio having produced
on all of Alexio’s albums believes Alexio’s lyrical supremacy will leave
fans and all listeners amazed and also the decision to use a full band
for the recording process aided in the superiority of the sound compared
to his previous offerings."...read more on http://www.alexiokawara.co.zw/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=74%3Atose-can-be-the-best-album-out-of-zim-since-ancient-voices&catid=1%3Alatest-news
